6. The people of a neighborhood are creating a community vegetable garden.
a. One part of the garden will have 6 rows of corn plants. Each row will be 11.25 feet long. Irrigation soaker hoses
will be laid along each row of corn plants. How many feet of soaker hose will be needed? Explain the steps you go
through to solve this problem. Be sure to explain how you decide where to place the decimal point.
