Detailed bids for 2017 competitions must be submitted to the IBSA Goalball Subcommittee by 1 March 2016 and detailed bids for 2018 competitions to be submitted to the IBSA Goalball Subcommittee by 1 March 2017. Please ensure letters of intent include the name and year for each competition you are interested in hosting, and whether you are interested in hosting a combined men’s and women’s competition, a men’s-only competition or a women’s-only competition Additional information for regional competitions: We will only accept letters of intent for from federations located within the geographic region for the tournament. For the European A, B, C championship competitions, preference will be given to bidders from countries participating in the group they would like to host. While we will accept letters of intent for men’s-only or women’s-only tournaments, preference will be given potential hosts willing to conduct combined (men’s and women’s) tournaments. We understand we are asking for your inputs very early and that this may be a challenge for some of you. However, we believe that if can get an early start on selecting hosts and scheduling competitions as early as possible, it will afford organisers ample time to plan and conduct high-quality competitions. Also, early announcement of competitions provides additional time for participants to raise funding for entry and transportation expenses. We hope these measures will ensure maximum participation at all competitions. Please feel free to contact goalball@ibsasport.org if you have questions or require additional information. Thank you in advance for your support! Yours in sport, IBSA Goalball Subcommittee
