Hello All, I thought I would share the podcasts I have been listening to because they have been very helpful in understanding the various concepts, best practice, alternative treatments, etc. in nursing and healthcare. The best approach is to search through and listen to the topics you are currently interested in as there are podcasts for every topic you can think of; searching helps to keep a manageable list. I listen to them when I’m driving, cleaning, etc. and I try to listen to the topics currently being discussed in my hospital or that I’m not as clear on. I drive about 900mi/wk so that’s lots of car time where I need to fit in a creative way to spend it hands-free! It’s nice listening to the topics that are still confusing to really integrate the information. I enjoy all of these podcasts, they have been helpful with different topics covered in nursing school and now in practice, but there are some I listen to more often so I tried to include a description for most of them and I hope that helps when deciding which ones to listen to. The other thing you can do is a general search that searches all podcasts for a given topic because it could save you time not searching through each one individually. There is a long list because not every podcast covers all of the topics that one might be interested in. Some of the podcasts I have listed have only had one topic that was needed but there are other topics that will be helpful later. Happy listening! I hope this is a helpful tool for everyone. Let me know if you have questions and I will be happy to help.
