For all of you who are on the internet the pony club has its own website, this can be accessed on
www.pcuk.org. Our branch is linked onto this and you can access this through area 4, then Furness.
Karen Harvey is the co-ordinator and for more details contact Karen on 431105.
Fund raising is still very important and the parents committee (contact Linda Floyd) would welcome
any ideas anyone has to help raise money. Don’t forget the Barrow Rugby Lottery, we only have 10
members from who we receive £200 a year, if we had 20 members we would receive £400 a year
and so on. Its an easy way to raise funds and it only costs £1.00 a week. Forms available from Cathy.
There are still some members who have not paid their subscriptions for this year, if you are going to
re-join please submit these ASAP to Julie Newsham, Tethers End, Great Urswick, Near Ulverston,
LA12 0SX. These were due on 31st January, after this date you are not covered by pony club
insurance if you have not paid your subscriptions. Don’t forget to ask your parents to fill in theGift
Aid Form as we get £10.00 back from HQ for each one completed. If anyone is not sure about them
please ring Julie 582244 for clarification.
All hats must be checked and tagged, members will not be allowed to compete without a tagged hat.
Hats must have the CE mark and a quality symbol, either BSI Kitemark, the SAI Global symbol or the
