WORKING HUNTER HORSE CLASSES This show is affiliated to the Sport Horse Breeding (GB). Class 34 is a RIHS qualifier and entry fee will include an RIHS levy of £9.00. The three highest placed horses will qualify unless they have already done so. No horse lower than third will qualify. *Riders and Owners for class 34 must be members of Sport Horse Breeding (GB) and all horses must be on the SHB(GB) Show Hunter Register PLEASE NOTE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT CORRECT REGISTRATION NOS. PLEASE READ RULES CAREFULLY. Class 34 will be run in accordance with 2015 SHB(GB) rules. Skull caps/hat and safety harness according to the current approved BSI or European Standard must be worn by ALL competitors in the jumping phase of the following classes. This show is a Qualifier for the Blue Chip & Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) £2,000 Challenge.The highest placed horse (not already qualified) from each of the following Classes 33 - 35 that is registered or eligible for registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven Irish Draught breeding, will qualify for the Final of the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) £2,000 Challenge. Horses need not be registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) to qualify but must be on the IDHS (GB) Registers by the time of the Championship which will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show on 12th-13th September 2015 at the Lincolnshire Showground, Grange-de-Lings, Lincoln LN2 2NA. N.B: A horse may only qualify for the Final once, regardless of the type or number of classes won, placed in or entered. Each qualifier will receive a card and a £10 voucher from Blue Chip. Qualifiers are required to complete an online form at www.idhsgb.com to inform the IDHS (GB) that they have qualified for the Final. Following submission of the online form, a qualifier’s pack will be sent out direct to the qualifier. In the Final, the Champion will be awarded £1,000 prize money, a trophy and a Blue Chip rug. The Reserve Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th inclusive will be awarded £100 each. In addition, the highest placed Pure Bred Irish Draught will be awarded a trophy and £100 and the highest placed 158cm (15.2hh) and under will receive a trophy and £50 and the highest placed *Amateur Produced and Ridden Horse will receive a silver salver and a rug. Special Prizes: Class 35 - Winner of the Warrington Horse Society Novice Horse Working Hunter will receive ‘The Irving Greenhalf Memorial Trophy’ The Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) will award Special Incentive Cards to the highest placed Irish Draught Pure Bred or Irish Draught Sport Horse in Classes 33 35. To be eligible, exhibits must be registered with or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) on either their Irish Draught Breed Registers or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers. Fence Hire: Doodle Jumps Working Hunter Courses are not to be walked by competitors until the judge has given permission. Class 33 Intermediate Working Hunter Horse Class Mare or Gelding 4 years or over, exceeding 153cms. Not to have won a total of £150 in prize money in any working hunter class, or more than 25 BE points or £250 British Showjumping at home or abroad before the 1st January of the current year. Fences max 1.07M (3'6"). Not Run Under SHB(GB) rules. Class 34 Open Horse Working Hunter (Run under SHB(GB) 2015 Rules) – please see note * at beginning of section Mare or gelding or stallion (competing stallions must have a red, white and blue ribbon displayed in their tale) 4 years or over, exceeding 148cms. Riders to have attained their 16th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Any horse which has qualified as a Grade A Show Jumper or Advanced Event Horse as at 1st January in the current year is not eligible to compete in Working Hunter classes. Fences max. 1.14cms (3’9”). No hind boots or bandages of any description are allowed in the collecting ring, warm up or in the actual class. Horses with minus scores will not be required for the second phase of the class. Class 35 The Warrington Horse Society Novice Horse Working Hunter Mare or gelding 4 years or over, exceeding 153cms. Not to have won a 1st prize value of £40 or a total of £150 in prize money in any working hunter class, or more than 10 BE points or £150 BSJA show jumping at home or abroad before the 1st January of current year. Fences max. 1M (3’3”.) Not Run under SHB(GB) rules.
