BRITISH MINIATURE HORSE SOCIETY CLASSES
Classes 43 to 52 are open to registered and un-registered horse not exceeding 92 cm. These classes are open to all Miniature
horses regardless of registration, and owners and handlers do not need to be members of any society. Winners in each
class will qualify to compete at the British Miniature Horse Society Breed Show on the 5th September 2015, provided that
the owner and handler of the horse becomes a member of the BMHS within 28 days of the show.
Winners of Classes 46, 47 & 48 qualify for the “Star Seeker Championship” to be held at the BMHS Breed Show in
September. The winner of that Championship, if not registered, may be eligible for registration (subject to vetting).
Owners/Handlers must apply for membership with the BMHS within 28 days.

These classes are affiliated to the British Miniature Horse Society (BMHS), all classes will be run under their
rules. Only registered horses owned by a BMHS member may enter. Owners, exhibitors and handlers must
be current members and have paid the appropriate BMHS 2015 Showing Levy. Horses to report for
measuring half an hour prior to class, unless a 2015 measurement card is held. Height limits for all classes

Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to
compete. However in order to Qualify both Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid
Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge.
Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card.
The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 7th-9th August 2015. Shows held on or after date of Championship Show will count as
2016 qualifiers.
The following classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifiers [Show Secretary to insert class numbers]. For full rulings and information on
competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS (UK) Members' Handbook; or visit www.chapsuk.com for rulings.
All stallions, 4 years old and over entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK). All stallions must wear Stallion ID Discs in the
ring without exception

COMBINATION MUST STAY THE SAME FROM FIRST /SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS AND GRAND FINAL.

COMPETITORS ONLY NEED ONE QUALIFICATION CARD = IN HAND - ONE QUALIFICATION CARD
ESUK This show is affiliated to ESUK, taking place at Arena UK, Grantham Lincolnshire on the 17th – 19th July 2015. The three highest
exhibits will qualify in each affiliated class.
Equifest. First and Second place from qualifying classes will qualify for the Equifest Championship held at the East of England Showground
12th - 16th August 2014,
P(UK) 1st, 2nd, 3rd places horses/ponies will qualify for the P(UK) Supreme Championships 2015 and the P(UK) Winter Classic 2016.
Qualification cards will be awarded in the ring and Golden Tickets will be awarded to the Winner/Champion of each affiliated section.
