Insurance: We recommend that you take out travel insurance – preferably at the time of booking. This usually covers illness, accidents, loss of baggage, loss of deposits and cancellations etc. Some companies do not cover bicycles – be aware and read the fine print. (Please see below for booking conditions.) BOOKING CONDITIONS 1. DEPOSIT: A booking will only be made if accompanied by a deposit of $1,900 per person 2. FINAL PAYMENT: Is due no later than 1 April 2015. If this is not paid, we reserve the right to regard the booking as cancelled. 3. CANCELLATION: of a booking is only effective when received by us, in writing, from the participant. Cancellation charges will be scaled accordingly: More than 56 days 30% 42 - 56 days 40% 28 - 41 days 50% 14 - 27 days 60% 7 - 13 days 80% 1 - 6 days 100% We reserve the right, in any circumstances, to cancel the tour, and in this event will return to the participants, all monies paid, with the exception of non-recoverable airline deposits. In no case, except for reasons of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports, cancellations or changes of schedules by scheduled airlines and similar events beyond our control, will the tour be cancelled less than four weeks before the scheduled departure date. 4. ALTERATIONS: We reserve the right at any time to substitute alternative accommodation or to make any other alterations to tour arrangements that become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control and undertake to inform participants as soon as possible. Where additional costs are involved, these must be borne by the participants. 5. COSTS: Tour costs are based on currency exchange as at 11 November 2014. Should these costs change, we reserve the right to make a surcharge on the cost of your tour. No surcharge will be made in respect of currency fluctuations once full payment has been received on or before 1 April 2015. This guarantee does not apply to any taxes, charges or levies imposed by Governments or their agencies. 6. LIABILITY: We are not liable for personal injury, death, damage to property or other loss arising from accident, cancellation, delay or any other matters beyond our control. Participants must insure against all such possibilities.
