BANQUET
Registration: Entries are due by 5pm Monday, January 12, 2015. In the interest
of the environment, please submit entries electronically. Entry forms may be
found at www.skiwestyellowstone.com/jnq. Email entries to
info@rendezvousskitrails.com. Payment of fees must be completed prior to team
leaders’ meeting at 6pm on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the check-in located in the
Chamber building on Friday from 3-5:45 pm. Late entries will be accepted until
Friday team leader’s meeting. Please register well before 6pm on Friday to
ensure timely team leader’s meeting. WYSEF and USSA liability waivers must be
filled out for each racer.

Daily Trail Fee: $8 All skiers must have a ski pass on non-training days. Parents
and spectators on the race course must have a trail pass if they are on skis.
Athletes and coaches are not required to have passes on Friday, Saturday, or
Sunday. Passes can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, Freeheel &
Wheel, Bud Lilly’s, and the trailhead. Season passes are available for $40 or $75
per family. Rendezvous Trail Fees are dictated by the US Forest Service.
Awards Banquet: Tickets are $14 and must be reserved with team entries and
paid for prior to the team meeting. A dinner will be held on Saturday night at the
West Yellowstone School (411 N. Geyser Street).

MONDAY –January 12, 2015

9:00 – 5:00 PM Courses open for inspection.
Course maps will be available at check-in and posted at the trailhead
building and stadium area (biathlon range – approx. 1500 meters from the
trailhead). Trail passes are required and are available at the Chamber of
Commerce, Freeheel &Wheel Ski Shop, or Bud Lilly’s Trout Shop for $8.00
each.
3:00-5:45 PM Check-in, fee payment, & late registration (West Yellowstone
Chamber of Commerce). Make checks payable to WYSEF
Late Registration:
U14 & Younger: $25.00 per race day
U16-U20 $40.00 per race day
Final registration changes. NOTE: Please check-in well before 6:00 pm so
the Team Leader’s meeting will go quickly. There will be NO
REGISTRATIONS accepted after the Team Leader’s Meeting.
6:00 PM Team Leader’s meeting at WY Chamber of Commerce (corner of
Canyon and Yellowstone). Coaches ONLY will be allowed to pick up bibs.
SATURDAY – January 17 (5K Freestyle)
7:30 AM Equipment shuttle to stadium area; drop off at South Plateau Rd
8:00 AM Late bib pick-up at stadium (green tent).
9:00 AM Race Start – Freestyle
6:30 PM Banquet and Awards at the HOLIDAY INN. Cost is $14 per ticket
and must be paid in advance. Make checks payable to WYSEF.
SUNDAY – January 18 (Distance Classic)
7:30 AM Equipment shuttle to stadium area; drop off at South Plateau Rd
8:00 AM Late bib pick-up at stadium (green tent).
9:00 AM Race Start – Classic
30 second intervals. Boys then Girls in each class (U20-U8).
U10 & U8 -1 km
U16 – 5 km
U12 – 2 km
U20/U18 – 10 km
U14 – 3 km
Awards will be distributed on Saturday at the banquet and on Sunday at the
stadium as each class finishes, after results are posted.
RESULTS AND SCORING
Results: Overall results will be generated as well as division specific results for
U16 and older.
National Ranking List (NRL): Racers wishing to be scored on the NRL must hold a
current USSA competition license prior to competing and note the number on the
entry form.
Intermountain Division JN Selection: Intermountain racers wishing to qualify for
Junior Nationals must hold a current USSA competition license prior to competing
in order to be scored. Scoring only applies to U16 and older.
