Dear Parents, Your child will be performing our Third Grade Disney

Dear Parents,
Your child will be performing our Third Grade Disney Spectacular program the evening of
Open House on Tuesday, March 5th at 6:30 p.m. on our stage. They are to report to the music
room no later than 6:05 p.m., dressed and ready to go. The children may wear a Disney costume
or their grade level green, tie-dyed T-shirt, jeans and gym shoes. If you choose to have them
wear their T-shirt, consider adding some Mickey Mouse ears. They aren’t required, but kind of
fun. The students tell me that there is a Disney store at the Grapevine Mills Mall. Years ago I
had a parent send me a few links to an on-line costume shop and a local one, too:
www.anytimecostumes.com/costumes/ccren.html and also www.nacheska.com . This second link is
to the local costume shop, Over The Top Costume Shop, 280 Commerce St., Suite 24, in the 280
Sports Complex, Southlake, TX 76092.
For added practice, visit my web site for a link to the lyrics of our program. You can Google
“Disney Spectacular Videos” and a bunch of choirs will pop up with performances of our music.
Your child can sing along and work on their music, if they’d like to. I spent almost an hour
previewing many of the videos, and they were all rated G. I hope this is helpful!
One final and important request, Mr. Fisher will be working on our beautiful set and needs some
parent helpers to lend a hand. If you are willing and able to volunteer your time, please text him
as soon as possible. He’s planning to meet Tuesday, February 26th from 4:00 – 6:30 in the gym.
Thank you so much and we’ll see you at Open House!
Thank you,
