BACKGROUND
The Department has agreed to provide Grant Funding to NQ Dry Tropics for payment to the Proponent to undertake
various activities to improve nitrogen use management practices to meet the Project Objectives.
The Proponent is strongly encouraged to seek independent professional agronomic advice to best suit the unique
circumstances and needs of its farming system.
The parties wish to record the terms and conditions of their Agreement.

Receipts of purchase as evidence of the amount of fertiliser purchased and applied to the
cane crops for the calendar year 2016;

Delivery receipts and / or purchase receipts for calendar year 2016 regarding other sources
of nitrogen (e.g. mill by-products and legume crop seeds);

Receipts of drip or overhead irrigation equipment and installation invoices (if applicable);

Completed fertiliser activity form and practice change survey for the Farm (or Farms) as
provided by NQ Dry Tropics for calendar year 2016; and

A valid tax invoice.

SCHEDULE 3 – DELIVERABLES

 A warranty declaring that all Minimum Standards of Management Practice are in place on
the Farm (or Farms) and will be in place for the duration of the Agreement (Minimum
Standards are defined in Part B); and

three Smartcane BMP modules have been completed.

Receipts of purchase as evidence of the amount of fertiliser purchased and applied to the
cane crops for the calendar year 2017;

Delivery receipts and / or purchase receipts for calendar year 2017 regarding other sources
of nitrogen (e.g. mill by-products and legume crop seeds);

Receipts of drip or overhead irrigation equipment and installation invoices (if applicable);

Completed fertiliser activity form and practice change survey for the Farm (or Farms) as
provided by NQ Dry Tropics for calendar year 2017; and

Completed nutrient management plan using the Six Easy Steps program.

A valid tax invoice.

Proponents must obtain, keep and provide necessary reports and/or Records to meet requirements
of the Agreement. The Proponents are obliged to keep such Records for a period of no less than 7
years after the end of the Agreement.
