Background
Pamela Lopker, who founded QAD in 1979, is responsible for shaping its vision and strategic
direction, and directing the company’s global research and development efforts.
Lopker has long been recognized as leader and entrepreneur in advancing manufacturing
software. She has received many publishers’ accolades, including: “Hero of U.S. Manufacturing”
from Fortune, “Manufacturing Industry Visionaries” from Start and “Legends of Manufacturing,”
from Manufacturing Systems. Forbes profiled her four times, and Ernst & Young named her
Entrepreneur of the Year for the Greater Los Angeles area.
Lopker holds a bachelor of arts degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa
Barbara. She is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by the American
Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).

for a variety of software companies.

Dr. Thomas Blumer is the Director of Knowledge Management at QAD. He has an DBA
with a focus on Knowledge Transfer in M&A Integrations from the University of Phoenix.
In his current role, Thomas is delivering enterprise-wide Knowledge Management
initiatives focused on collaborating, accelerating best practices, and leveraging
internal organizational knowledge.
Thomas is also responsible for managing the creation of QAD's product documentation,
including user guides, training guides, and process maps. He has 20 years of experience
in the areas of knowledge management and operations management and worked for
HP, Mercury Interactive, UBS, and Sharp Electronics before joining QAD.

Carol Cvitkovich is the Director of the Global Resource Model for QAD’s Global Services
organization. In this role her primary responsibilities include developing methodologies,
service offerings, and resource models to effectively deploy QAD solutions for our
customers using internal regional QAD resources, partners and our offshore Global
Resource Centers with the goal of quicker time to our customers’ benefit.
Cvitkovich has been employed for more than 7 years at QAD, having served as a
project manager and services director. Prior to joining QAD, Cvitkovich’s career
spanned multiple industries and roles in the Information Technology area along with
over 25 years spent in the Consulting Industry both delivering services and responsibility
for managing the business.

Nicole Groves is a Business Analyst Manager for QAD Research & Development in the
Manufacturing Development Group. Working out of the Corporate offices in Santa
Barbara. Nicole has most recently worked on the QAD Product Genealogy solution.
Prior projects include a large joint development project for QAD Enterprise Manufacturing Applications and QAD Lean Manufacturing. Prior to working at
QAD, she worked for a global electronics manufacturer in various positions of Program
Manager, Master Scheduler and Systems Analyst and was involved with the
implementation of QAD Applications.

Mary Ann Guthrie is Senior Director of Research & Development at QAD. She and her
team are responsible for the Customer Management solutions, including QAD Customer
Relationship Management (QAD CRM), QAD Configurator, QAD Customer Self Service
(QAD CSS), QAD Service & Support Suite (QAD SSM, Field Service Scheduler and QAD
Mobile), and Core Distribution.
Guthrie has been employed for more than 12 years at QAD, having served as a
technical product manager, product manager and director of product management.
Prior to joining QAD, Guthrie managed, led and participated in the development and
implementation of complex business systems in the insurance, manufacturing and
services industries, and has more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology
and software development.
Bob Herdoiza is the Chief Executive Officer at CEBOS. He is responsible for setting
company strategy and working closely with staff and customers ensuring CEBOS is
continually adding value.
Herdoiza joined CEBOS in 2001, bringing over 15 years of experience in technology,
manufacturing, quality, and compliance. Prior to joining CEBOS, he has held various
positions including: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at AudienceOne, CFO at Adobe
Enterprise Publishing Solutions, and Audit Manager at BDO.
Herdoiza holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.

Bill Keese is Senior Vice President of Research & Development (R&D) at QAD. He is a
member of the Strategic Steering Committee and is responsible for overall product
direction and overseeing the R&D organization and development process.
Keese has been employed with QAD for 13 years, holding various roles within the R&D
and product management organizations. Prior to joining QAD, he spent 15 years
developing business applications specializing in financial, procurement and material
planning. Overall, he has 26 years of experience in the software industry.
Keese has a bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management
Information Systems from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Dave Medina is the VP – Life Sciences, responsible for QAD’s life sciences industry
strategy and guiding life sciences product development. He recently joined QAD and
brings over 23 years of experience in the health and life sciences industry.
Prior to QAD he held positions at HP as the Director-World Wide Life Sciences Industry
Segment, responsible for HP’s enterprise sales and services to the life science industry,
and later Director–Product Management for Healthcare Analytics and Life
Sciences. Prior to HP, he was the Director of Business Development and Marketing for
Quintiles Consulting, focused on consulting services for GxP compliance consulting and
medical device development. Before Quintiles he was a sales and marketing leader in
a number of healthcare software and medical diagnostics companies.
Dave has a BS from the US Coast Guard Academy, an MBA from Tulane's A. B. Freeman
School of Business, a Graduate Studies Certificate in Medical Informatics from
Northwestern and held a Regulatory Affairs Certification from the Regulatory Affairs
Professionals Society.

support.
Before joining QAD, Forrest contributed to the selection, implementation, and support of
enterprise systems for medical device and electronics manufacturing companies,
having worked in materials management, quality assurance, product engineering, and
management information systems.

implemented QAD in October of 2011 as a fully integrated system with their existing
Salesforce.com platform using Qxtend. Rusty has experience with Salesforce.com since
its inception 9 years ago and has been successful in integrating the core functionality
into QAD to bring a robust solution for Bioness’ extensive requirements. He was in
charge of architecting the entire ERP system while managing the implementation
project along with Strategic Information Group.

open source technologies. Working in QAD Research & Development for more than 13
years, he has been integral to the development of several QAD products, including
QAD .Net UI. Additionally, he was instrumental in porting MFG/PRO to Linux. Steele
continues to provide innovative ideas that help QAD deliver the best possible products
and solutions.

Mark K. Williams, CFPIM, CSCP (Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory
Management and Certified Supply Chain Professional), is the Leader of the Global
Supply Chain Planning Practice at QAD.
Mark has more than 20 years of extensive domestic and international experience in
supply chain management, operations and inventory management, demand
management, purchasing and logistics. In addition to running his own supply chain
consulting and training company for eight years, Mark has served as Director of
Demand Planning for Rexall-Sundown; Senior Manager of Materials for Georgia Pacific;
and both Manufacturing Operations Manager and Distribution Center Manager for
Vermont American, a manufacturer of hardware tools. Mark is an internationally
recognized authority in supply chain management who has spoken at conferences
and conducted seminars in the U.S., Australia, Asia, South Africa, Europe and the
Caribbean. Mark received a B.A. from the University of Louisville.
Tony J. Winter is Chief Technology Officer for QAD, responsible for driving the
company’s long-term technology, architecture and product release strategies. Winter
oversees a global Research & Development team, manages all technical relationships
with QAD global partners, and innovates on QAD’s key technology initiatives, including
its mobile computing and QAD On Demand.
Winter joined QAD in 1999, holding several key roles in Global Services and QAD R&D,
including creating the Release Foundation Group and earning QAD’s highest
technology honor, the Distinguished Engineer, for his U.S. and international patent for
technology used in services-oriented architecture (S0A).
As a specialist in enterprise application architecture and enabling technologies, Winter
has more than 15 years software R&D experience. He holds a bachelor of science
degree in physics and computer science from Staffordshire University in the United
Kingdom.
