Talent Show

Event where Park Lawn students perform their talent or talents of acting, singing, dancing, acrobatics, drumming,
martial arts, playing an instrument, and other activities to showcase a their talent. All students are welcome to audition.
Final show is held in April.

May 6-10, 2013, is national Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. It's a time to give thanks to all of our wonderful
teachers, staff and administrators at Park Lawn. Activities are planned throughout the week.
FUND RAISING:
American Dojo

Martial Arts classes offered for students at Park Lawn as an after-school program. Pre-registration is required and
there is a minimal fee. All grades levels are welcome.
Book Fair

A Scholastic Book Fair gives children the chance to see, touch and fall in love with the very best children’s books. It also
offers the chance to earn free books and teachers’ resources for your school. Park Lawn will host two book fairs this year.
Box Tops

Box Tops are on over 250 participating products such as baking supplies, yogurt, Kleenex boxes, Pillsbury, cereal
boxes and much more. Each Box Tops coupon is worth 10¢ for Park Lawn. Please cut the box tops and place in a
small zip lock, with 50 in each bag and label. Box Tops can be dropped off anytime and placed in the container in
the front entry just outside of the office. Two contests will be held throughout the year for students.
Culvers Night

Dates are determined throughout the school year. Park Lawn families that dine at Culvers will have a percentage of
the proceeds donated back to Park Lawn.

The Entertainment™ Book contains hundreds of valuable 'up to 50% off' and '2-for-1' offers from many of the best
restaurants, arts, attractions, hotel accommodation, travel and much more! Students will bring a book home with
the option to sell to others and earn prizes. Books are sold in the Fall.

Pancake Breakfast with Santa

Family event held the first Saturday of December. This is a fundraiser that includes a pancake breakfast,
visit and pictures with Santa, and activities for children.
Panther Prowl

The Panther Prowl is a family event held in May. The Panther Prowl includes; dunk tank, bounce house,
cake walk, local mascots, dance, dinner and much more. Proceeds of this event will be used to continue
playground improvements and upgrades.
Grocery Receipts

Sentry: Ask the cashier to affix a "Funds for Friends" sticker on your grocery receipt. Don't hold on to
your receipts! They expire in 6 months! Turn them in to the classroom or bin outside the school office. We
receive a 1% cash rebate on the totals. The Funds for Friends program is still underway for the Sentry
Foods on Golf Road in Delafield!
Pick-N-Save: No receipts are needed. Simply designate Park Lawn Elementary School (our school ID # is
604900 ) as your school of choice on your Pick-N-Save Advantage card. At the check out, a 1% cash
rebate is electronically added to our school's account.
Piggly Wiggly: Fox Brothers Piggly Wiggly supports Park Lawn Elementary School by giving back 1% of
all sales receipts turned in as part of their H.A.R.T. (Hartland Area Receipt Tally) program! You are already
buying the groceries—just save that receipt to earn back some of your spending for your school! Just drop
off Fox Brothers receipts (locations in Oconomowoc and Hartland) in the PTO drawers by the office.
Spirit Wear

Custom Park Lawn Spirit Wear will be sold in the Fall. Order forms will be sent home.
Wilderness & Kalahari
