Our Lady at Fatima told us to:
"Say the Rosary every day...Pray, pray a lot and
offer sacrifices for sinners...
I'm Our Lady of the Rosary.
Only I will be able to help you.
...In the end My Immaculate Heart will triumph."
The word Rosary means "Crown of Roses". Our Lady has revealed to
several people that each time they say a Hail Mary they are giving her a
beautiful rose and that each complete Rosary makes her a crown of
roses. The rose is the queen of flowers, and so the Rosary is the rose
of all devotions and it is therefore the most important one.
The Holy Rosary is considered a perfect prayer because within it lies
the awesome story of our salvation. With the Rosary in fact we meditate
the mysteries of joy, of sorrow and the glory of Jesus and Mary. It's a
simple prayer, humble so much like Mary. It's a prayer we can all say
together with Her, the Mother of God.
With the Hail Mary we invite Her to pray for us. Our Lady always grants
our request. She joins Her prayer to ours. Therefore it becomes ever
more useful, because what Mary asks She receives, Jesus doesn’t say
no to His Mother.
In every apparition, the heavenly Mother has invited us to say the
Rosary as a powerful weapon against evil, to bring us to true peace.
With your prayer made together with your heavenly Mother, you can
obtain the great gift of bringing about a change of hearts and
conversion. Each day, through prayer you can drive away from
yourselves and from your homeland many dangers and many evils.
It can seem a repetitive prayer but instead it is like two sweethearts
who many times say one another the words: "I love you"...
The Rosary starts with the Sign of the Cross - This is where we ask for
a Blessing in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We
are stating our faith and belief in the Holy Trinity and are asking them to
Bless us.
The Apostle's Creed
This is where we affirm our belief in our Catholic Teachings:
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and
in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy
Spirt, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was
crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day
He arose again; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of
God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living
and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the
communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the
body, and life everlasting. Amen
Our Father
This is the prayer that Jesus gave us to pray to our Father (Luke
11:2-4 & Matthew 6:9)
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom
come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evil. Amen.
The Hail Mary
The prayer opens up with a message directly from God delivered by the
Angel Gabriel to Mary.
'Hail Mary Full of Grace the Lord is with thee' (Luke 1:28)
Elizabeth Mother of John the Baptist greets Mary with
'Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy
womb' (Luke 1:42)
The Gospel of Luke provides the foundation that Mary as the 'Mother of
God' (Luke 1:43)
'Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the
hour of our death'
We entrust our petitions with Mary and her uniquely privileged
relationship with Christ to intercede for us. Through her, with her, and
in the Hail Mary and with the Grace of the Holy Spirit we seek and
achieve special moments with God.
Glory Be
Once again we are acknowledging the Trinity and that God is a
constant, and his Heavenly Kingdom.
‘Glory be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. As it was in the
beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.’
The Fatima Prayer:
This is the prayer that Jesus’s Mother gave us for our salvation by
acknowledging Good and Evil and the consequences for their path.
"O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead
all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy".
HAIL HOLY QUEEN
We gather, the saints and sinners of earth, with the angels and saints of
heaven, to thank the woman who brought us Jesus Christ, the Way, the
Truth and the Life, and to ask her to graciously help us to know him,
love him and serve him as she did.
If our Lord can honor His Mother, perhaps we should also since He
commanded us to honor our parents as well. (4th Commandment).
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life our sweetness and our
hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; To thee do we
send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn
then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us and after
this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O
clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of
God… That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ
The order of the Prayers:

While holding the crucifix make the Sign of the Cross; then recite
the Apostles Creed.

Recite the Our Father on the first large bead.
3
Recite a Hail Mary for an increase of faith, hope and charity on
each of the three small beads.

Recite the Glory Be to the Father on the next large bead.

Recite the Fatima Prayer "O my Jesus" on the large bead.

Recall the first Rosary Mystery and recite the Our Father on the
large bead.

On each of the adjacent ten small beads (also referred to as a
decade) recite a Hail Mary while reflecting on the mystery.

On the next large bead, recite the Glory Be to the Father, the
Fatima prayer.

Each succeeding decade is prayed in a similar manner by
recalling the appropriate mystery, reciting the Our Father, ten Hail
Marys while reflecting on the mystery, the Glory Be to the Father,
and the Fatima prayer.
10 When the fifth mystery is completed, the Rosary is Customarily
concluded with the Hail Holy Queen, and the Sign of the Cross

the hidden life of Jesus of Nazareth. They are marked by the joy radiating from
the reality of God’s affirmative “yes” to Man.

The Gospels give great prominence to the sorrowful mysteries of Christ. The
Lenten devotion of the Way of the Cross, has focused on the individual moments
of the passion, realizing the revelation of God’s love an d the source of our
salvation.
