GPA Worksheet Instructions 1. 2. 3. 4. Use transcripts from schools other than Auburn to enter courses taken there. Print an unofficial copy of your Auburn transcript. Print the Sample GPA Worksheet to complete yours. List courses in chronological order exactly as shown on the transcripts from other schools and those taken at Auburn. 5. Use MS Excel to complete and format the worksheet so it prints on one page, if possible. 6. Include all courses even those from which you withdrew, repeated or failed courses, dual enrollment courses, junior college courses or those taken abroad. 7. If you gapped a course, list the grade shown on the transcript as XD or XF and include the hours and points you would have earned. 8. List AP/IB courses or those with grades of S/U/P/W/WF/Audit/Exempt at the top of the worksheet. Put the course ID, course title, the grade and the hours earned. 9. In the next section, list biology/chemistry/physics/math (BCPM) courses on the left side and all other courses on the right side of the worksheet. Include course prefixes and numbers, shortened course titles, grades, quality hours and quality points. 10. Include statistics as a math course and thermodynamics as a science course. 11. Add total hours and points for the BCPM courses; divide total points by total hours to calculate the BCPM GPA. Round to 2 decimal places. Do the same for the all other GPA. 12. Calculate an overall undergraduate GPA. 13. List postbaccalaureate courses, grades, and GPAs in a section below the undergraduate courses. Postbac. courses are those you take after you graduate but before you enter a graduate program; they count in the undergraduate GPA. Calculate a postbaccalaureate GPA using those hours and points. 14. Add undergraduate and postbaccalaureate hours and points. Divide points by hours to calculate the cumulative undergraduate GPA. 15. List graduate courses, grades, and GPAs in a section below the postbaccalaureate courses. Divide points by hours to calculate the graduate GPA. 16. Save a copy of the worksheet for corrections or additions. 17. Compare it to the sample worksheet before printing and submitting it.
