I expect there will be some overlap, and maybe some differences. Chapter Summary – (20 points, Due next class) A brief report that summarizes material from the textbook or another assigned source for this week. You will receive your part of the assigned material in class. Each report has 3 parts: 1. Typed report (10 points) – Turn in 2 - 3 paragraphs (4-6 sentences each) that summarize or describe what was written in the assigned material. Do not put your opinion (e.g., whether or not you agree/disagree or link/dislike) in this report. Make sure to include: Title and authors of the article What – What was the article about (Sentence 1 or 2 in the Abstract) Why – Purpose. Why did they write the report (usually stated in the first paragraph) Main Point or Points 2. In-class presentation (5 points) – Discuss your summary report. 3.
