Team planning plays an integral part in the Council achieving its strategic aims. Team Plans are the third level of the ‘Golden Thread’ which consists of the Corporate Plan, Service Plans, Team Plans and PDRS/TDRS. It is very important to disseminate the information contained in a service plan into team plans as this helps focus a team’s priorities and ensures the service works as one to achieve its goal of continuous improvement. Team Plans also inform the PDRS/TDRS process and will help identify actions and objectives for individual members of staff. This better aligns the contribution of individuals to corporate priorities. Completing the Plan Please involve your team in the writing process, as they will be the ones carrying out the actions identified. This template has been designed around your Service Plan to help align your team closer to corporate priorities. Highlighted below is a brief summary of each section you will need to complete including guidance notes: XXXX Team overview: Describe the main functions/ responsibilities of your team.
