TRAVEL – FLIGHTS
The official team flights depart Australia on July 11th 2013, and arrive back in Australia on August
2nd. If you are travelling with the team on both of these flights, please indicate below.
If you are looking to alter your travel from these dates, you must formally request permission from
Team Management, and may do so below.
Where you are granted permission, you must make your bookings through the official agent
Goldman Travel in Sydney. If more convenient, team members in Victoria may contact Global
International Travel, unless you are able to acquire a frequent flyer seat.
Only under limited circumstances will exemptions be granted for requests to travel outside of these
flights, and as per the Maccabiah Travel policy a fee of up to $250 may apply to excuse yourself
from team flights.
Please note, Juniors will only be granted leave in special circumstances from the official flights and
only if travelling with family.
Any deviations from the official flights should be requested early enough so as to ensure that
where possible flights of the same cost are able to be organised. It is important to note that a
request to travel outside of either one of the official flights will have you taken out of the group
booking, so please action this as soon as possible to give yourself a chance of travelling on a team
flight where you would like to. All bookings to be done through Goldman Travel in Sydney or if
more convenient, team members in Victoria may contact Global International.

NOTES:
a. Where permission is granted to deviate from team flights, the cost of the travel component will be
deducted from your final invoice. This cost deduction will be between $2250 and $2500.
b. Travel insurance will not be deducted, as the group policy being taken out on the team’s behalf is
compulsory.
