$20 per group for adult scavenger hunt
Instructions for Adult Scavenger Hunt
Pre-registration is required and a group of 4 is acceptable. Travel in one car as a group/team.
Meet at the History Center of Olmsted County to check-in and pick up your first 5 clues at
12:30pm.
Open the clues in numbered sequence. Complete clue number one prior to proceeding to clue
2, etc., etc…
Scavenger hunt lasts 3 hours. If you are not done with all of the clues within a 3 hour time
frame, it is okay, please return to the History Center of Olmsted County.
When your group/team is done with the scavenger hunt or during the scavenger hunt, please
submit your photos to the email of programs@olmstedhistory.com. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be
determined from your group/teams photo submission.
There will be a total of 10 clues per group/team, some are the same, but most are different.
Clues will take your group/team around Rochester, MN.
Use a smartphone to take a picture with your group at each clue.
If you do not solve a clue within 20 minutes, open the next clue.
If your group/team gets done with all the clues within the 3 hours please feel free to go back to
your favorite restraunt/bar and enjoy a drink or appetizer.
Use of smartphone is permissible. IT IS NOT CHEATING!!!
In case your group/team gets stuck, you can call 507-282-9447.
When your group/team is done with the Scavenger Hunt, please return to the History Center of
Olmsted County because there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. This will also give us a
chance to see the pictures you have taken with your clues and a chance for feedback.
Do not drink and drive.
