STEP 1 : Before filling the Form, applicants have to scan their recent passport size photo
for uploading it in the form. Picture size should not more than 100 kb. They have to fill all
the fields in the form and then they can go to the STEP 2.
STEP 2 : Applicants have to give their personal details and 10+2 details, then they can
check the form by preview the form.
STEP 3 : After going through the preview, applicants can correct and submit the form
finally.
STEP 4 : After successful submission, the challan will be generated and they will a get a
Temporary Id for their application.
PAYMENT THROUGH OFFLINE : Applicant has to take print out of the challan and the
same has to be deposited to the Axis Bank, Khagra Branch at Berhampore,
Murshidabad.( NearHaribabur Dhal )
The applicant has to wait for 24 – 48 hrs after deposition of the fees (payment) in the bank.
Then the applicant can login to the online admission portal of the college to download the
filled up form.
Later the applicant has to produce the downloaded form along with the original documents,
photocopies of all relevant documents and challan during counseling.
Login Credentials will be :
Username : Temporary Application id or Permanent Application Id (It will be written on
the application form)
Password : Mobile No. (Valid mobile no. used at the time application)
Use Valid Mobile No. to receive SMS from college.

Criteria for Admission in Degree Course
Eligibility for pursuing Honours Course
A Candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have
obtained:
1) A minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous
qualifying examination.
or
2) 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying
examination.
or
3) 55% marks in aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject or any related subject in his /
her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied.
Eligibility for pursuing Major Course
A student who secures a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate at the H.S or in
an equivalent examination shall be eligible for admission to major degree course of
studies provided she has passed the said examination with 5 recognized subjects, of
which at least one is English, carrying not less than 100 as full marks.
However, candidates belonging to the SC/ST community and persons with disability
shall enjoy 5% relaxation in marks.
N.B: Aggregate means the sum of marks of best scored five (5) subjects excluding
environmental studies.
Note: In addition to the above combination subjects for both Honours, Major and
General Courses Compulsory English, Compulsory Bengali andEnvironmental Studies
are to be studied as compulsory papers.
Others clauses
A candidate shall be allowed to take up the subject (s) under heading ‘(A)’ at both
Honours and General level if she had passed the subject (s) under heading ‘(B)’ at the
previous qualifying examination.

Some special condition to Honours Course in Chemistry,
Economics, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Philosophy and
Sociology
Chemistry: A candidate shall be allowed to take up Honours in Chemistry if she has passed in
Chemistry, Physics,& Mathematics in the previous examination.
Economics: The subject Mathematics, Statistics & Business Economics including business
Mathematics be treated as related subjects.
Environmental Science: If the candidate does not have Environmental Education/
Environmental science/ Environmental Studies as elective subject then the subjects Biological
Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Geography, Geology, Mathematics,
Modern Computer Application, Physics & Statistics be treated as related Subjects.
Mathematics: A Candidate Shall be allowed to take up Honours in Mathematics only if she has
passed in Mathematics at the previous qualifying examination. A candidate who has passed in
Business Mathematics is not eligible for admission to Mathematics Honours Course.
Philosophy: The subject Psychology be treated as related subjects.
Physiology: A candidate shall be allowed to take up Honours in Physiology only if she has
passed in Biological Science & Chemistry at the previous qualifying examination.
Sociology: The subjects History, Philosophy, Political Science& Psychology be treated as
related subjects.

ANTI-RAGGINGCELL :
As per directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Ragging is strictly prohibited.
RAGGING MEANS THE FOLLOWING :
Any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or
handling with rudeness any other student, indulging in rowdly or indisciplined activities which causes or likely to
cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension there of in any fresher or a
junior student or asking the students to do any act or perform something which such student will not in the
ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to
adversely affect the physique or psyche of a fresher or a junior student.
PUNISHMENT:
Depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established by the Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution, the
possible punishments for those found guilty of ragging at the institutional level shall be any one or any
combination of the following :
i) Cancellation of Admission.
ii) Suspension from attending classes.
iii) Withholding / withdrawing scholarship / fellowship and other benefit.
iv) Debarring from appearing in any test / examination or other evaluation process.
v) Withholding results.
vi) Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament,
youth festival etc.
vii) Suspension / expulsion from the hostel.
viii) Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution.
ix) Fine of Rupees 25000/x) Collective Punishment : When the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified,
the institution shall resort to collective punishment as a deterrent to ensure community pressure on the potential
raggers.
For monitoring the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India against ragging an Anti-Ragging Committee
has been constituted by the college.
