BACK TO SCHOOL 2009-2010
Youth for Christ is the only authorized organization that has
been allowed in our public schools. YFC provides ministry
and Bible Study in 17 High Schools and 4 middle schools.
YFC connects with local churches and other like-minded
partners in providing El Paso students the opportunity to
become authentic, life-long followers of Christ who live out
their faith in the context of their campus community and
naturally invite others to follow Christ with them. Each
Youth for Christ club meets once a week during lunch; providing pizza, prayer and Bible Study. For more
information on what YFC does and our history, please visit our web site: www.yfcep.org
“Youth for Christ El Paso has received the approval from School Districts”
This Summer Youth for Christ El Paso presented to the El Paso School Districts the package that is
required for YFC to continue to meet in the public Middle and High Schools. We presented the
required liability insurance as well as our new “Character First!” curriculum. We are happy to inform
that YFC El Paso is fully compliant with all the regulations and conditions that the School Districts are
requiring, and therefore can provide another year of Ministry to our El Paso Students at our public
Schools! This fall we start with 17 different High Schools and 4
Middle Schools. Every day of the week students in our public
schools are given the opportunity to make an informed decision to
become a follower of Jesus Christ through YFC clubs and many
times this is the ONLY opportunity that many of the students ever
get to hear the Gospel. Thank you for those who financially
contribute to YFC, and I would encourage those who currently do
not, to consider supporting this important ministry to our students
in El Paso through Youth for Christ El Paso—

SEPTEMBER

ENGAGE: Go and
Pray” Wednesday
September 23,
2009. See You at
the Pole connects
believers together
at the beginning of
the school year, to
stand strong
together throughout the year. In El Paso, we
had over 980 students gathering at their flag
pole praying for their school this year.

PRAYER
Give of your heart and time to pray for
Youth For Christ, our students and our
volunteers. We value these types of
partnerships. If you would like to be
part of our “YFC El Paso Prayer
Network” contact us. VOLUNTEER
You can work directly with young
people or utilize your administrative
gifts in any number of ways.
DONATE
Currently 100% of all donations go to
support the ministry. All staff and
board members volunteer their time to
support the ministry to our students.
It takes $320 to support a YFC club at
each High School per month. This
amount includes the curriculum, food,
insurance and compliant fees to
conduct ministry at each school. You
can donate several ways;
You can help in one of three ways:
1. Be a 20/20 partner. Your donation
of $20.00 per month will help sponsor
a club for one week. This will go to
pay for the pizzas for a week, per
school.
2. “Adopt a school” You can do this
by a donation of $100.00 a month.
Your adoption will be announced to
the school, and you will be part of the
“YFC” club at that particular school.
That school will commit to pray for
you each time it meets. This is a great
way for Churches to be involved with
YFC. (Let us know what school you
would like to sponsor)
3. One time partner to Youth for
Christ El Paso. You can donate any
amount for the extension of Youth for
Christ El Paso’s ongoing ministry. If
you or your church or Business would
like to be part of this mission field;

Paso, please contact us:
