Taught the science units (GEMS units Mystery Festival, Of Cabbage and
Chemistry, Floaters & sinkers) to 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students as part of the
UCA Challenge program (Summer 2006 - present).
Taught the ‘Food Chemistry’ unit of Science and Technology for Children on a
volunteer basis for about two and a half months to 5th graders of Mayflower
elementary school (Fall 2003).
Taught the ‘Floating and Sinking’ unit of Science and Technology for Children
on a volunteer basis after school for several weeks to fifth graders at Mayflower
Middle School (2001).
