Jessica Wood Lauren Pyrzenski Puppy Paws “A new leash on life” COMPANY DESCRIPTION AND OVERVIEW Puppy Paws would be a business in which you bring your dog(s) to, no matter what situation you’re in; whether or not your dog just needs a groom, a bath, or a place to stay when you go out of town. We would take in stray dogs and care for them just as well as we would family. We would love to start this business for our love of dogs, and also our admiration of the people in need. We would donate $250 of our profits each month to charity. Not only this, but every month we will also have a fundraiser where we give away a dog we have rescued that needs a family. For this particular business you need to have a business degree and of course you need to be able to love and care for dogs as well as be patient. To start this store it is most likely to take us about 25-30,000 with all of the necessary needs. INDUSTRY ANALYSIS Our future business is going to be located in Savannah, GA. We both agreed on this specific location because tourists might bring their dog to Savannah for vacation and find out that they can’t take care of them that night, or maybe they ran out of dog food; perhaps their puppy just needs a groom! Either way, we will be there to help! Our official address in 147 Hills drive. We would adore having you at our grand opening November 9! Jessica Wood Lauren Pyrzenski Puppy Paws “A new leash on life” MARKETING PLAN To advertise our business we will be posting our flyers and business cards in restaurants and grocery stores of our choice. Every Tuesday and Thursday our ad goes into the newspaper for people to view. We are starting a Facebook page for people to follow and find put our latest deals etc. Even though we have a lot of advertisements going out we will also have the help of family and friends to spread the word by mouth. Jessica Wood Lauren Pyrzenski Puppy Paws “A new leash on life” HUMAN RESOURCES We will have 4 people working with us; two as cashiers, one as the groomer/bather, and one that stays overnight and watches the dogs in Doggie Daycare. The cashiers sell the items (food, leashes, treats, etc.). The groomer/bather will be keeping the dogs clean and healthy. The overnight watcher will be staying at the Doggie Daycare with the dogs from the time that the store closes to the time that it opens. Jessica and I will be helping with each one of these tasks so we can interact with the customers. Before our grand opening we are going to put ads in the newspaper and interview until we have the people that we feel are necessary and just right for Puppy Paws!
