ANNUAL AHCC “GETAWAY”---A SOUTHWEST ADVENTURE!

Day 1(Tue, 3/19) ORLANDO/TUCSON---Provided transportation will pick up at SOLIVITA village parking lot to whisk you off to Orlando International Airport for your trip to Tucson, Az. On arrival in Tucson, provided transportation will take you to the world-class 4-star TUCSON NATIONAL RESORT for a 3 night stay. Check in and the rest of the day is at your leisure. Tonight we will have our welcome-to-the-southwest dinner at 6:30PM.

Day 2(Wed, 3/20) TUCSON---Early rise with breakfast starting at 7:00AM. At 8:30AM board transportation for your tour to Fort Huachuca, home of America’s Buffalo Soldiers. Tour the Buffalo Soldier museum and listen to the guides’ stories of the exploits of these tough men. After included lunch, head out to Tombstone, Az for your tour of this historic city and its famous OK Corral. See reenactments of the period and the gunfight that made this “A Town too Tough to Die”. Return to your hotel by 6PM for dinner and a relaxing evening. Overnight B,D

Day 3(Thu, 3/21) TUCSON---This is an “All Options” day after breakfast! o Take an optional early day tour to OLD TUCSON movie site, “….where the spirit of the old west comes

alive….”. See the location where filming of mainstay westerns like John Wayne’s “Rio Bravo” and TV’s

“High Chaparral” took place. See actors portray the west of the late 19 th Century. (Note: If interest is

there, this can be organized into an add-on tour) o Or go to the Pima Air and Space Museum to view rare WWII aircraft in an outdoor collection of vintage flying machines. o Get in a round of golf on Tucson National’s championship course---you’ll appreciate that golf in the

Southwest’s Sonoran desert can be very challenging! Or, if you choose, get out to one of the local nearby courses. o Or you can just relax and enjoy the fabulous Spa---pamper yourself! Overnight B

Day 4(Fri, 3/22) TUCSON/PHOENIX--- After breakfast we board our transportation by 10AM for the short ride to

Phoenix, capital of Arizona. Phoenix offers some of the most pristine shopping and prestigious real estate in the

U.S.! There are countless outdoor venues, majestic mountainous scenery and golf courses ranging from simple, public courses---friendly to all levels of play---to challenging, PGA caliber facilities. We check into the MARRIOTT

AT CAMELBACK in the heart of Phoenix/Scottsdale metro. After included lunch you’ll be free to explore as you chose. Dinner will be at 7PM B L D Overnight

Day 5 (Sat, 3/23) PHOENIX ---After breakfast, today there will be a half-day city tour. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy Marriott’s 5-Star resort in the desert. Or you can go browse the elegance of Scottsdale; enjoy the southwest sun, take a tour, get in a bike ride or play a round of golf! It’s really your day to do whatever makes you happy! B Overnight

Day 6 (Sun, 3/24) PHOENIX/GRAND CANYON--- This morning after breakfast we leave the city of Phoenix at

8:30AM and head up to the “Rim” area or North Central Arizona where the mesa’s and tablelands rise to over

6000 feet then ease down into picturesque SEDONA with its stunning red rock formations, wineries, cowboy and native American culture. With the variety of things to see and do in SEDONA, you’ll treasure your 3 hour stopover before we head on to Williams, Az to catch the Grand Canyon Railway that will take you up to the canyon and your accommodations for the night. Overnight B D

Day 7 (Mon, 3/25) GRAND CANYON---Grand Canyon, included tour of the canyon with Buffet Lunch. You’ll explore one of the 7 Wonders of the World---and the only one in the United States. See the amazing vistas, some of which allow you to look down into the mile-deep abyss of The Canyon and visually explore billions of years of earth’s evolution. If you choose, you may take a short hike down The Canyon, sign-up for a one-day

white water rafting trip down the Colorado River or just simply enjoy the naturalness and wonder of The

Canyon---take pictures! You’ll settle back into your hotel for a well-deserved dinner. Overnight, L D

Day 8 (Tue, 3/26) GRAND CANYON/LAS VEGAS—after breakfast this morning we leave Grand Canyon for the exciting finale of our southwest adventure----LAS VEGAS! We’ll motor coach over to the west’s version of the

“City that never sleeps”----cruising past Hoover Dam and a possible photo-op, on to our luxury accommodations at the pristine MONTE CARLO RESORT AND CASINO in the heart of the strip. Once you’ve checked in you’ll have ample time to try your luck, plan to see a show or do whatever the Big Light Bonanza in the desert has to offer!!

DAY 9 (Wed, 3/27) ---LAS VEGAS---After your included buffet breakfast/Lunch (voucher), the day is yours!!

DAY 10 (Thu, 3/28) ---LAS VEGAS --- Today our southwest adventure comes to a close! You’ll have another full day in Las Vegas. At 7:30PM please be at the Monte Carlo for your departure at 8:00PM to McCarran Airport for your red-eye flight home!

DAY 11 (Fri, 3/29)—Arrive in Orlando at 9AM. Pick up your luggage at the carousel and got to the designated location to board your transportation back to Solivita.
