Tuesday, July 16, New York State Library/New York State Museum

8:30am-9:30am Lecture “Hymns and Songs in the Formation of the Shaker Collective”
featuring Dr. Carol Medlicott
9:45am Board buses in front of New Hall and travel to the New York State Museum
At the museum we will split into two groups. Twenty NEH Summer Scholars will go to
the New York State Library and the remainder will go to the New York State Museum. The
curriculum for the NYSM visit is listed for Friday, July 19.

12:00pm-1:00pm lunch and individual exploration of Watervliet
