1 Arts of Humanity Supports Social and Emotional Learning Standards Arts and Civic Engagement (ACE) ACE is the primary program of Arts of Humanity. This program teaches youth the qualities of humanitarians and provides them with opportunities to become creative civically engaged citizens and humanitarians. Participants in the ACE program focus primarily on honing humanitarian qualities, while the art piece of the program is an enrichment component. Students who participate in ACE take a pre and post assessment to measure their knowledge of social and self-awareness as it relates to creative skills and being a humanitarian. The Arts of Humanity comes to classrooms to teach the philosophy of being creative humanitarians and teaches students how this idea can prepare them for career life success.
