Fundamental microbiology: Extensive experience in Microbiology techniques. Isolation, identification
and characterization of bacteria (Enterobacteriaceae, Aeromonas, enterococci). Antibiotic susceptibility
testing.
Molecular Biology: DNA and RNA isolation, DNA cloning and construct design. RT-PCR. DNA and RNA
Sequencing. Site-directed mutagenesis (disruption, deletion and PCR mutagenesis). Plasmid analysis
(replicon typing, RFLP, plasmid MLST). Transformation and expression of heterologous genes in different
