2. Approval of minutes – February 20, 2012 Approved ( Smith / Munsche )
3. Chair’s report (John Rebers)
a. Sent e-mail to Committee regarding staff changes in grad office.
b. Responsibility for Excellence in Education Awards is switching to Grants & Research Office.
c. Some Committee members had difficulty accessing Excellence in Education proposals on
Basecamp.
4. Graduate Student Association Report (Heather Munsche)
a. They are planning for Graduate Student Week which runs same week as the Celebration of
Student Works.
b. Will send survey for suggestions of fall programs.
c. Two students are attending Michigan Graduate Education Day in Lansing (will also meet
with representatives).
