NFRC ANS Standards Committee
National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is an American National
Standard Institute (ANSI) Accredited Standards Developer (ASD) and develops and administers comparative
energy and related rating programs for fenestration products. As an ANSI ASD, NFRC submits designated
NFRC rating procedures for recognition as American National Standards under ANSI’s Essential
Requirements.
As part of the ANSI approval process, NFRC has established the NFRC ANS Standards Committee to provide
public review, comment, and vote on the NFRC rating procedures being submitted as American National
Standards. Membership on the ANS Standards Committee is open to any individuals who are interested in the
work of the committee. Membership in NFRC is not a requirement to join the ANS Standards Committee and
no fee is charged to serve on that committee.

In accordance with the Procedures Manual for NFRC’s ANS Standards Committee, members of the committee are
required to actively participate in the Committee’s activities, including attendance at meetings and casting ballots on
matters presented to the Committee for action.
If selected to serve on the ANS Standards Committee, the undersigned agrees to abide by the Procedures Manual
and other rules of the committee and to notify NFRC if there is a change in the undersigned’s designated category,
