FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—Bluebell Design Studios Launches Kaleidographix: A New
Twist on Geometric Surface Design
New York, NY, November 13, 2015:
Bluebell Design Studios has just launched
Kaleidographix (KGx), a unique, broad-scale, classic-meets-modern take on geometric
design. As exclusive licensing agents for the award-winning Kaleidograph®* educational
toys, Bluebell’s founders, Beth Saffer and Suzan Waldinger, have done something not yet
seen in the art licensing industry. By using the geometric toy as a creative design tool, they
have produced hundreds of patterns ranging from clean and simple, to intricate and elegant.
And it doesn’t stop there - the KGx line continues to grow, and will showcase thousands of
designs.
“KGx is unique in surface design because of the endless possibilities in creativity and crossproduct application,” say the designers. “Kaleidographix patterns enhance everything from
home goods to fashion, tech wear to paper products.”
The Bluebells are excited about their distinctive line because it will open up new avenues for
surface art, and it is in accordance with their mission to create happy, colorful designs for all
applications.
“We expect KGx to kick-start a trend in licensing… classic modernity with a fun geometric
twist. The versatility is extraordinary for the surface design industry.”
The creators believe product lines that have formerly resisted surface art will appreciate the
flexibility of pattern offered through the KGx line. “The designs are sophisticated yet fun. After
all, they were born from a toy that’s based upon design in nature. We think of it as ‘Toy
Meets World’.”
