New Communication Studies Curriculum Premieres Fall 2011 Students entering under the 2011-2013 UW Oshkosh Bulletin will complete the newly revised curriculum in Communication Studies. Over the past two years, the communication faculty and students have worked together to develop a new curriculum that draws upon the strengths of our faculty and meets the needs of students in the new millennium. The NEW Communication Studies Major will consist of a core of required courses, which all students will complete, and four Content Focus Areas within which students can choose to focus their elective courses. These areas are: Rhetoric and Public Advocacy, Organizational Communication, Interpersonal Communication, and Communication Generalist.
