NÁRODNÝ KOORDINÁTOR PROGRAMU EÚ HORIZON 2020 Partnering offer in Horizon 2020 Date (XXXX/XX/XX) (*) Description of the expertise offered (up to 1000 characters) The Department of Cropping Systems has been conducting long-time multi-factor field experiments. The field with different share of cereals was established in 1974 and the trial with different approach to tillage (conventional, minimizing, mulch tilling, no-tillage) in 2000. In addition, the experiment with a higher share of oil plants in crop rotation was established in 2010. The research institute solves following issues: sustainable agriculture, decreasing of pesticides and fertilizers, targeted protection of plants, nutrition of crops, utilizing of waste from industrial and agricultural production, testing of new soil helpful matters, the achievement of high quality grain with an increased content of health-beneficial components for food. At the same time the effect of soil helpful matters the moisture sustainment in varied climatic conditions will be tested. There will be evaluated the influence of innovative cropping technologies on grain quality, farinaceous attributes, the sustainability of soil functions, as well as on the sustainability of soil fertility. In this research a new lysimeter station will be used.
