NOTICE RE: GA POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR
FALL 2014
In accordance with Article 12:01 of the CUPE 4580 Collective Agreement the Department of Psychology invites applications for the
following GA positions:
Note: Assistants will be required to assist the instructor with the following:
a) marking of tests and exams
b) assist with preparation of course materials
c) teaching labs for specific courses
d) proctoring of exams
e) clerical assistance to instructor
GA positions will be assigned in accordance with the criteria in Article 12:03 of the CUPE 4580 collective agreement. Preference will be
given to candidates with experience being a GA for the course, who have taken similar courses, or who hold a B.A. in psychology.

The approximate total funds for GA Assistantships allocated to the Department of Psychology for Fall 2014 is:
77.5 units or 10,850 hours
*NOTE: All 70-hour assignments will be combined with another 70-hour assignment in order to total 140 hours per assignment.
Duration of all positions: September 1 to Dec. 31, 2014
All positions are subject to final budgetary approval and sufficient enrolment.
Eligibility requirements:
GA appointments shall be offered in accordance with the criteria specified in Article 12:03 of the Collective Agreement.
