Chipley High School basketball team was the 2011-2012 FHSAA 1A State Champion.
Trent Forrest was a 1st team all-state player in 2014.
Tyrome Sharpe was also voted 2nd team all-state in 2014.
Tyrome Sharpe was also on the 2011-2012 State Championship team.
2 Players from the class 2011-2012 state champion team is now play collegiate ball; Alex Hamilton the 2012 class 1a
player of the year is at Louisiana Tech.
Cameron Dozier is at the University of Charleston in West Virginia.
Coach Orlando was named the Florida Dairy Farmers 2011-2012 Class 1A Coach of the Year.
Coach Orlando was also the 2010-2011 FABC, Florida Association of Basketball Coaches 3A Coach of the Year..
Kobe McCrary also a member of the 2011-2012 state championship team is playing football at Butler Community College
in Kansas.
