Learning outcomes
This course is a further level of Psychopathology class and a foundation class
for Clinical Psychology majors. In this class we will study different
psychotherapy methods that was used and can be used by clinical psychologists.
Based on case studies and case videos, the students will study different methods
that can be used in treating psychological patients
The main objectives of this course are:
 To gain familiarity with all the main psychotherapy methods that are
used in modern psychology
 To learn the history of psychotherapy
 To be able to apply basic psychotherapy methods in practice
 To know what kind of psychotherapy method is used in the treatment of
specific disorder
By the end of the course the students should be able:
 Demonstrate live therapy under supervision
 Know all the main psychotherapy methods well and have some basic
knowledge on small and new therapy methods

