Current Status: Students are admitted on basis of qualification and all are equally supported academically toward graduation. No special effort is made to recruit student qualifying as diverse to the applicant pool. 2.1 School/Department Goal or Implementation Strategy for Diversity Goal 2 Each department/unit will admit and retain students, irrespective of race, gender, etc. New efforts will be made to advertise with local and regional HBCUs for applicants to our degree programs. The data for CSS degrees will be supplied by the CSS Admissions Office. Hopefully, these data will indicate some effectiveness of our outreach.
