2016 RULES - MADISON-ROCKINGHAM RESCUE SQUAD, INC.




























All ticket holders must be 18 years of age or older. Tickets are numbered 001 through 5000. Only one name per ticket.
Name must match your personal ID.
The drawing/fundraiser is scheduled for July 25, 2015 in downtown Madison, rain or shine.
Drawing is conditional upon the sale of 2250 tickets. If the drawing is not held, the ticket price will be returned to the ticket
holder or another alternative will be offered.
Unsold tickets become the property of Madison-Rockingham Rescue Squad, Inc.
You do not need to be present to win. If a winner is not present, they will be notified as to how and/or where to claim
their prize. Winners should anticipate a wait for up to 2 weeks to obtain their prize.
Winners must contact Madison-Rockingham Rescue Squad within 30 days and claim their prize. This includes any side
raffles/drawings held on the day of the 2015 event. The ticket holder is responsible for checking winning numbers for any
side raffles/drawings. These winners are announced periodically throughout the day on the grounds of the event. They will
also be posted on our web page within a few days following the 2015 event.
Some prizes may require payment of Federal Taxes before the receipt of the prize. This will be the responsibility of the
winner. ONLY the ticket holder whose name is on the ticket may claim the applicable prize.
Madison-Rockingham Rescue reserves the right to go to a back-up system and use whatever means is necessary to
complete this drawing and give away every prize.
In the unforeseen event a prize cannot be obtained, cash of equal value will be issued or a similar prize will be substituted.
In the unforeseen event that two ticket numbers are identical, the first entrant entered will supersede the duplicate. In
that case, we would issue another ticket to the second entrant.
Upon providing a self-addressed, stamped envelope, a ticket holder will be mailed a list of the winner’s names and winning
ticket numbers. A list of winners can also be found on the website.
All winners must agree to have their name and image/photo publicized.
Madison-Rockingham Rescue Squad, Inc. is liable only for awarding of the prize. Any liability after awarding of the prize,
and the use thereof, is solely with the winner of the prize and the Squad expressly denies any actual or implied liability.
Madison-Rockingham Rescue volunteer members are not eligible for the drawings.
All firearm winners will be provided contact information to claim their prize at Colfax Gun and Ammo in December only; or
Morgan’s Gun Shop and Kathye’s Pawn Shop.
Firearms picked up at a dealer other than Colfax Gun and Ammo, Morgan’s Gun Shop or Kathye’s Pawn Shop may be
subject to a nominal transfer fee.
All applicable local, state, and federal laws will be followed.
The winner’s valid Social Security Number is required by law to obtain their prize, the winner must fill out a W9 and provide
a copy of their Driver’s license or some form of pictured ID.
If a cash prize is won and the winner is outside the geographical boundaries of the squad, a check will be mailed after the
winner provides necessary documentation including a W-9 form and proof of ID.
In the event a winner is deceased at the time of the drawing, a death certificate and proof of heir must be submitted in
order to claim the prize.
Any ticket purchased with a check that has insufficient funds will automatically be voided.
Credit card orders ONLY on our web page in conjunction with Square Market until sold out or July 25, 2015 at 5:00 PM
(whichever comes first). All credit card orders are from tickets sold at Madison-Rockingham Rescue, not through any
outside “Seller”. No telephone orders.
Vehicle state sales tax, (titled) transfers, and registration, government fees, dealer freight/preparation, dealer document
preparation charges or any finance charges (if applicable) is the responsibility of the winner and will be paid by the winner
for listed prizes. Some prizes may be available the day of the drawing.
All prizes are the responsibility of the winner and any fees or transfer fees in order to get said prize to the winner’s
residence is the responsibility of the winner. The squad is not responsible for shipping and/or paying for shipping for the
winner.
No pets are allowed except for service animals.
No skateboards, scooters, bicycles, or skates are allowed during the car show and/or mega raffle.
No seating will be available so bring your own lawn chairs.
No alcoholic beverages permitted downtown unless provided by a vendor.

Illegal drugs strictly prohibited. Report illegal activity to available on-site Law Enforcement or Madison-Rockingham Rescue
personnel.
Retail value is based on 2014 prices and is subject to change.
Cash out option: some winners may elect to receive the cash out option in place of the prize listed below. Each cash out
amount was determined by a number of factors, and does not reflect either the actual cost or the cash value of the prize.
