Planting bulbs for gifts This unit provides the learner an introduction to the horticultural and floristry industry and the part they play in everyday lives. The learner will produce a gift similar to ones found in florists, supermarkets and garden centres and be able to take this home. They will learn the Health and Safety requirements of working with plants and the equipment required to produce the final gift. They will understand the need for PPE and the necessity of being tidy and cleaning the work station.
