Climate
In winter temperatures rarely drop below -15°C, while in summer the
average temperature varies between 20 and 28°C. Despite its
mountainous location, Liechtenstein enjoys a mild climate that is
strongly influenced by the southerly Föhn wind.

Liechtenstein lies between Switzerland and Austria. With a total surface area of 160 km², it is the sixthsmallest country in the world and has a population of approximately 37,000 people. The head of state
is the Reigning Prince. According to the 1921 Constitution, state power is shared between the Prince
