From Obituaries Australia:
Suttor, Norman Lachlan (1864–1928)
The death occurred yesterday after a long illness of Mr. Norman Lachlan Suttor, one of the most
widely-known pastoralists in the western districts. Mr. Suttor was born at Brucedale, Peel, 1864.
For many years he was in partnership with his brother, the late Mr. Horace M. Suttor, and owned
Alloway Bank, later buying Eurona Station, Peel, and Bingletree, Sofala, where he became
keenly interested in breeding sheep. His Border Leicesters won many of the principal prizes at
the Sydney and western shows. He was a representative of the Bathurst diocese in the General
Synod of Australia. Mr. Suttor is survived by Mrs. Suttor and three daughters.
