Saturday 28 June - Sunday 13 July: Half Price Children’s Entry At The Ballarat Wildlife Park
Go wild with delight at The Ballarat Wildlife Park these school holidays with half priced tickets for kids aged 15
and under. Park visitors will be in awe of “Crunch” the five metre long Super Croc who has taken up residence at
the Park’s new Northern Australia Billabong display, and Park Rangers in-the-making will be thrilled at the
interactive shows and tours. Pat a friendly snake, snuggle into a fluffy koala, meet a waddling wombat and see
the ferocious sounding Tasmanian Devils feeding. Watch Crunch jump up for his fish and walk amongst the 100
friendly, free-roaming kangaroos. Learn about the Park’s endangered species programs and take in the natural
surrounds. Visitors may even get to meet Australia’s youngest ranger, four year old Charlie Parker, and share in
his contagious enthusiasm for reptiles and snakes. Enjoy a break at the fully licensed café and take home a

Saturday 28 June - Sunday 13 July: Creswick Woollen Mills
Visit and tour the last coloured woollen spinning mill of its kind in Australia, designing and manufacturing since
1947. Visitors can experience the journey of fibre; all the way from its source on the Alpaca, through the
manufacturing process and how it ends up on the shop shelf. The new exhibit ‘A Very Fine Yarn’ gives a great
insight into natural fibre manufacturing and the 65 year history of the Woollen Mills in Creswick. Whilst at the Mill
treat yourself to refreshments on the viewing deck on arrival and get your photo taken whilst you feed the friendly
alpacas. And if you’re after some knitted bargains, check out the newly expanded knitwear store for an
expansive selection of natural-fibre fashion.

The holidays start with the annual Cutest cria competition on Saturday and Sunday. Thr competition introduces
our newest Crias (alpaca babies). Have your photo taken with the friendly alpacas and share with your friends.
After the weekend, the fun continues for a school holiday activity with a difference - Feed the alpacas and treat
yourself to refreshments on the viewing deck and get your photo taken whilst you feed the friendly alpacas.
These gentle animals communicate by humming and love chasing each other up and down the paddock. They
are very inquisitive and enjoy being petted and fed. Feeding times are at 11am and 2pm on the viewing deck.

Bring the kids to the Gallery for free activities while you enjoy the For Auld Lang Syne exhibition. Includes free art

This winter, everyone is invited to take part in a very merry series of activities on offer at Sovereign Hill as

These winter school holidays, come face to face with dragons and be spellbound by a mythical land of medieval
adventure at Kryal Castle. Rug up in your winter woollies, be warmed by open fires and take on the challenge of
the Dragon Quest and make sure you choose your side for the Daily Duel of the Dragon Families on the jousting
arena. Begin your experience in the Dragon’s Labyrinth, as you navigate the chambers of the Labyrinth and learn
the story of Kryal’s very own dragons and the myth and legend that surround them. From the cheeky dragon
sprites that scatter dragons gold throughout the castle grounds to their mysterious and protective mother
Ushnagh – uncover the story deep within her lair, where magical eggs lay along with the secrets of the Kingdom.
She is the keeper of the king’s treasure and maybe even the King’s children! Wonder through the dragon egg
garden and see if you can find the protected dragon eggs in the Knights Tower. Young and old will be entertained
by the adventures of the Castles Dragons with hours of activities and entertaining shows. Join the medieval
games and feasts and see if you can find the dragons! There will also be dragon face painting, dragon story time

The simple story of a dingo who catches a wombat and decides to make wombat stew. Wombat stew is a ‘trueblue-dinky-di-big-Aussie-musical’ complete with blobs of mud, very fine feathers, creepy crawlies, flies and a big
bubbling billy can. Based on the book written by Marcia K. Vaughan and illustrated by Pamela Lofts, this musical

Fiddle-de Fee Fi Fo Fum…..Join us for pantomime fun as Creswick Theatre Company presents Where’s Jack Bean,

I am a band is inspired by the song ‘I am a …’ from Justine Clarke’s popular album I Like To Sing. The show will
encourage young audiences to engage their imagination through words, song and movement. An award winning
performer and Play School veteran, Justine's show is set to a wonderfully colourful, craft-themed stage, featuring
familiar songs that kids know and love from her hit albums; with an emphasis on a variety of instruments and
