We have the right to say whatever we want in a song and they cant do anything about it.

Paraphrase:
The Vietnam War was impacting teenagers and people in their twenties the most, songs around
this time made people feel scared and mad at the war and made them feel like they should try to
fight against it.

This is a time when people used music to show how they really felt about a sertain situation and
used it to get others on their side as well.
