Note to the Editor: About bodrumbodrum: Our project in Yalıkavak Tilkicik, one of the most beautiful coves in Bodrum, has a unique design and 80 independent units, all of them A-Class, luxurious and with views of the sea. Sixty of the units are villas while 12 are apartments. The project, which has a 200m seaward-facing façade, also includes a sea bar, café, restaurant, beach club and marina. In addition, each residence has its own pool, showers and parking garage. Features of the apartments: Constructed on a 25,789m² area, residences range in size from between 152 to 287m². Apartment types include 2+1, 3+1 villas (B, C, D types) and a number of small apartments (E type). Type B villas: between 237 m² - 266 m²; 3+1 or 2+1 options available. Type C villas: between 237 m² - 284 m²; 3+1 or 2+1 options available. Type D villas: between 251 m² - 287 m²; 3+1 option available. Type E apartments: 152 m². Prices of the villas vary with respect to location, area, garden size and other features. During the design process, our architects developed a special design concept that incorporates not only building materials but also the shadows, folding the topographical properties of the landscape into the architecture. The buildings have been placed sensitively, so that they respect the topography and do not block each other’s view. The covered driveways that provide transportation routes between buildings also meet the parking needs of residences in the blocks. These roads protect vehicles from heat, present a unique view of Bodrum and also provide pedestrian paths between buildings. They also keep all vehicle traffic out of the villa gardens. Special designs and mechanical heating and cooling systems enable use of the buildings in all four seasons. Villas that offer sea views also have wood-coated verandas, special stone and latticed wood separators to separate bedrooms and gardens on the ground floor, pool private showers, and access to beach facilities, cafés, recreational areas, a private boat jetty, and floating, sunbathing and relaxation areas. There is also an underground guest parking area, spa and gym included in the project. A boutique hotel will also be constructed as part of the project. The hotel concept includes a restaurant, café, bar and fitness center and is intended to serve residents and their guests all year long. The project was completed in June 2012.
