I am submitting my resume to you, because I will be graduating from Lane Community College this June with my
Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Because I live in Sisters, I will be actively looking for full
time or part time employment in the Sisters, Redmond, and Bend area. I will be looking for an opportunity to start
and grow within a well-established dental practice.
During my two years of the dental hygiene program, I have completed 500 hours of clinical practice, and
volunteered 47+ hours of my time for community dental health care. Within the last two years, I have held the
position of class treasurer and was nominated as a student delegate with the opportunity to attend the 2014
delegate session at the ODHA meeting. I enjoy being a part of a team and working together to accomplish goals. I
have gained the knowledge and skill base to be a successful hygienist and have a passion to produce quality
patient care.
I would like to schedule a time to discuss my qualifications and interest as a dental hygienist within your practice.
Though you may not have a position open currently, I am willing to work as a fill-in hygienist if needed, until a
