COMPETITIONS 29 September to 30 Oct 2014 - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
As authorised by NSW Permit Nr. LTPS/14/07632
Four competitions run on Facebook by (the Promoter) WISE Employment: 29
September – 30 October 2014.
1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and
Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions.
2. THE PROMOTER is WISE Employment Ltd (ABN 68 093 718 766) of 552
Victoria Street, North Melbourne, VIC, 3051. The event promoted by WISE
Employment is WISE Stand Up for Mental Health
(http://www.wiseemployment.com.au/en/community/wise-stand-up-for-mentalhealth/), taking place on 30 October 2014 at Sydney Town Hall in Sydney
Australia.
3. ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18
years or over who are able to attend WISE Stand Up for Mental Health on
Thursday 30 Oct at 7pm in Sydney (at Sydney Town Hall). Prizes consist of
event tickets ONLY as specified in 10. THE PRIZE. Any additional costs
associated with winners entering to win, or attending the WISE Stand Up for
Mental Health event on 30 October 2014 at 7pm at Sydney Town Hall in
Sydney, Australia, are not included in the prize. By entering the promoter’s
Facebook competitions, participants consent and agree to the full Terms and
Conditions as outlined in this document.
4. WHO ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO ENTER: Employees (and their immediate
families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are
ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, exspouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption),
parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew,
brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. Facebook competition
winners who win prizes during September-October 2014 are not eligible to enter
following weeks’ Facebook competitions, and won’t be able to win more prizes
during September-October 2014 if they have already been selected as a winner
in a previous week’s competition.
5. PROMOTION PERIOD: Promotion of competitions on Facebook will start
from 4.00pm AEDT on 29/09/2014 to 5pm AEDT on 30/10/2014. (“Promotion
Period”).

6. ENTRY MECHANISM: To enter, individuals must comment on the four WISE
Stand Up for Mental Health Facebook competition posts. By entering the
promoter’s Facebook competitions, participants consent and agree to the full
Terms and Conditions as outlined in this document.
7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries
and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to
disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these
Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the
Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of
those rights.
8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
9. WINNER SELECTION: The weekly winners will be chosen via random
selection (via Woobox https://woobox.com/ computer-generated winner
selection) on Fridays: 3, 10, 17 and 24 October 2014. Winners will be notified on
the competition post(s) in an announcement by WISE Employment. WISE
Employment will ask winners to email their details to WISE Employment at
pr@wiseemployment.com.au. WISE Employment will then arrange with winners
how they can collect their prizes on the night of the event.
In the event that a winner does not respond to the Promoter by 5pm on the
Monday after the winner was notified of his/her being the weekly competition
winner, the promoter may choose another winner, and the prize may be given to
another person, or persons, to attend the event.
10. THE PRIZE: Entries received through Facebook will be considered for the
purposes of choosing one random winner each week, except to the last week
which will have two winners. The weekly winners will each win two tickets to
WISE Stand Up for Mental Health, taking place on Friday 30 October 2014
at 7pm at Sydney Town Hall in Sydney, Australia. Each ticket is valued at
$20, so double ticket value (per winner) is $40.00. Winners will be asked to
collect their prizes (two free event tickets per winner) to the event on the night of
the event, 30 October, any time as from 5pm at Sydney Town Hall.
11. Any additional costs associated with winners attending the WISE Stand Up
for Mental Health event on 30 October 2014 at 7pm at Sydney Town Hall,
Sydney, Australia, are NOT included in the prize. Prize consists of event tickets
ONLY.
12. If a prize is unavailable for any reason outside of the Promoter’s reasonable
control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of
equal value and/or specification.
13. TOTAL PRIZE POOL VALUE is $200.00 (5 winners winning two tickets
each). Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as
cash.

14. Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for the content they submit.
Comments on Facebook used as entry mechanism need to be within community
guidelines of WISE Employment’s Facebook page. The Promoter reserves the
right to delete or block any comments, or block any Facebook fans who are in
violation of community guidelines.
15. Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims by
third parties arising from a breach of any warranty provided by them in these
Terms and Conditions.
16. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being
conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties,
unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or
(b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
17. Any cost associated with accessing Facebook is the entrant’s financial,
technical and operational responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service
provider used by the entrant.
18. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or
purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as
provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied
warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State
and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any
liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable
Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and
agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or
any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect,
special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, or arising as a
result of the winners using their prizes.
19. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the NonExcludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers,
employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of
opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any
way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or
not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third
party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged
or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any
reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize
value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred
by a winner or entrant; or (f) use/redemption of a prize.
20. The Promoter will not disclose private information to third parties, including
but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers.

21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or
associated with Facebook. Any questions, comments or complaints about this
promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not Facebook. Facebook will
not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury which is suffered or
sustained by an entrant, as a result of participating in the promotion (including
taking/use of a prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
