Glapwell added 16 points to their total with another winning draw this time at home as they hosted a low
scoring Retford team. The home team posted 174 all out. The Retford reply was 133 for 9 with 6 points
from the losing draw result and bowling points. Stephen Gooding made 35 and Chris Webber 30. The pick
of the Retford bowlers was Jonathan Redfearn 4 for 46. Wayne Spooner was the game's top scorer with 38
supported by an innings of 30 from Pascal Broadley. Chris Webber took 5 of Retford's wickets for 41.
North Wheatley with Leverton batted first at Thoresby Colliery, making 184 for 9. Thoresby responded with
185 for 6 taking 19 points as they beat Wheatley. The twentieth point eluded the hosts because they did
not bowl out the visiting team.
Edwinstowe visited Notts and Arnold and took 14 points as they removed 9 wickets. Notts and Arnold were
able to take 13 points as they responded to Edwinstowe's 218 for 8. Notts and Arnold matched the score
losing one more wicket. Edwinstowe batting first had a top score of 52 from Adam Dutton. James Dobson
just missed out on another half century falling for 49. Notts and Arnold's batting highlights were Craig
Harrison 40 and Dilhan Cooray 36. James Dobson took 4 for 42 adding to his haul for the season.
Mansfield Hosiery Mills visited Kiveton Park and would appear to have been able to return home early. The
opening score from the visitors of 227 for 7 was met with Kiveton being bowled out for a meagre 35 runs.
Kiveton were able to take 3 bowling points from the game for taking 7 wickets.
Worksop batted first once again as they visited their neighbours at Anston. Worksop posted 185 all out.
Tim Smith Junior made 44, Chris Taylor 49 with the ever present Amila Pereira taking 7 for 49 for Anston.
Anston responded with 186 for 3. Sam Taylor made 77 with Amila Pereira making the next highest total
with 39 not out.
Papplewick remain in top spot as they took further maximum points from their visit to Clipstone. Papplewick
offered 224 all out. Justin Braithwaite made 86 and Alex Lloyd 37. Clipstone's bowling was highlighted by
an efficient 5 for 38 from Najun Nizar Mohamed Faslan. The home team made 200 all out taking 8 points
from their 24 run defeat. Matt Millns scored 47 with Ian O'Brien top scoring with 57. Jim Rhodes took 4 for
36 for Papplewick, with Charlie Blatherwick taking 4 for 43.
