I can create a Lesson 1 folder on my Z: inside my MS Word folder. All files from
this lesson will be saved in the Lesson 1 folder.

would like to visit. I will use the following guidelines to complete the activity.

I can include my first and last name somewhere in the header (look under the Insert
tab).
I can center the title The Place I Want to Visit formatted with color, size, and style
of my choice.
I can write two paragraphs that each contain four sentences.
I can describe three steps I would take to visit this place.
I can format the page with a background color.
Activity 2: For this activity, I will be writing an autobiography about myself. I will use
the following guidelines to complete the activity:
I can save my document as LastName, FirstName L1A2.
I can include my first and last name somewhere in the header.
I can center the title My Autobiography formatted with color, size, and style of my
choice.
I can write two paragraphs that each contain four sentences.
I can format the page with a background gradient.
Activity 3: For this activity, I will be setting a goal or goals for this class. I will use the
following guidelines to complete the activity.
I can save my document as LastName, FirstName L1A3.
I can include my first and last name are somewhere in the header.
I can center the title My Goal for Word Processing formatted with color, size, and
style of my choice.
I can write one paragraph that contains four sentences.
In the paragraph, I can describe three steps I would take to meet the goal or goals.
I can format the page with a background texture, pattern, or picture.
