They tend to get quite stressed which makes it difficult for their owners to seek veterinary attention when they need it. But as a practice we want to make the trip to the vets as stress-free as possible, and we can give cat owners some helpful tips to ease their journey to us. We’re a feline-friendly practice and cat welfare is very important to us.” International Cat Care launched the Cattitude competition to raise awareness of its Cat Friendly Clinic (CFC) scheme, which encourages veterinary practices to make special efforts to improve the welfare of cats in their care. The CFC programme advises practices on how to make their environment as welcoming to cats as possible, as well as providing support in staff training, handling techniques and cat-specific client care. The Cattitude competition runs from now until the 24th of April.
