Westchester is the local chapter of Girls Incorporated, a 150-year old organization whose mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. We provide girls-only positive youth development programs throughout the county through various schools and community organizations. Our programs focus on healthy lifestyles, academic enrichment, and life skills instruction, covering topics such as anti-violence and bullying, college and career exploration, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), leadership and community action, women’s health, and more. All Girls Inc. programs are led and delivered by trained Girls Inc. professionals, and are offered in safe and pro-girl environments. There are roughly 66,000 girls between the ages of 9 and 18 living in Westchester County.
