Working in a 3-D environment allows for the critical anatomy to be identified and implants to be placed in ideal positions from surgical and prosthetic perspectives. The digital plan can then be transferred to the clinical setting through the use of a surgical guide. In this interactive workshop, a single implant placement planning will be reviewed and virtually designed. Participants will become more familiar with and better appreciate the many benefits of digital treatment planning for single-tooth restorations. After taking this course, which walks the participants through the progressive stages of the process: Diagnostic Appointment; CT Scan; Case Submission; Digital Treatment Planning and Surgical Guide Fabrication; and Digital Plan Review and Acceptance,& implant placement. They will also become more aware of the provisionalization process for an immediate loading protocol.
