GREETINGS BROTHER KNIGHTS!
As I am writing this note, the Fall Season is
here. Let me remind you to observe the beautiful
colors and enjoy our fall weather.
I am starting my second term as Grand
Knight of Council 1757. This is a good time for
our members to get involved with all our activities
at our Council. Please keep me and my fellow
officers in your prayers for another successful
year.
Chicken and Fish Dinners will be starting
in October. The first one will be October 3, 2014.
As part of our Fraternal Charities, the
Knights of Columbus has pledged $1.4 million for
the Special Olympics World Games to be held in
Los Angeles in 2015. Suprem Knight Carl
Anderson says this donation will cover the cost of
all Americans and Canadians expected to
participate.
We finally have a new Bishop for the
Diocese of Toledo. His names is The Most
Reverend Daniel E. Thomas. Support Him with
your prayers to guide us.

FINANCIAL SECRETARY CORNER: Dues
will be due by January 1, 2015 and remember that
the 2015 dues will increase to $25 for Regular
Members and $12 for Honorary Members!

time of this newsletter we already have 10 new

we have Scholarships available for your Senior
Student!

Auction to sponsor the Council 1757
Scholarship Fund and Seminarian Fund. Prize
amounts: 1st-$3,000, 2nd-$1,500, 3rd-$1,000,
4th-$750, 5th-$500 and 6th-$300. Evening includes a
meal, drinks and entertainment.
Cocktails @ 5:30PM – 6:30PM and dinner at
6:30PM. Tickets are $50 each and go on sale
November 21, 2014.
